Christmas 2009 Event Report

By admin | 18/01/2010

Hi all Culture Linkers!
Happy New Year to everybody!

Wasn’t the Christmas event great? Thanks to your participation we had a fantastic time.  Your feedback was excellent, most appreciative and showed that we are giving you what you want at these great monthly get-togethers. The fun and games in the corridors were awesome and created some real envy in the students stuck in boring lessons.(lol)  We showed how learning English can be fun.  And how about those fantastic limbo dancers?! How did they get down that far?

I’d like to give a special thanks to ‘stand-in’ teacher Yvonne who really got into the spirit of things and to our two interns who worked so hard on decorating the rooms and making the event run smoothly behind the scenes. Thanks Guys!

Oh, and Santa says he had a great time too and will be back at Lang Ha next Christmas. And he hopes to see all of you there.

The next event, ‘Australia Day’ is fast approaching and will be held on Sunday 24th January.  We will have our usual fun-filled lesson learning about my home country at Lang Ha including a lot of information courtesy of the Australian Embassy in Hanoi (special thanks to Ms. Duong and Ms. Anh for their assistance) then move to a local park to enjoy some traditional Australian sports.  And yes there will be lots of prizes for you to vie for. And Elaine will be back!
So check out the cool flyers at your Language Link home branch, buy your tickets early, tell your friends then come along and have another great CULTURE LINK DAY at Lang HA.

See you there!
