| >> What is English for Academic Success? |
The English for Academic Success (EAS) programme has been specially devised by LLV, to prepare individual learners and professional clients, who are interested in either studying abroad or taking internationally accredited exams.
The programme focuses on English language skills, within an academic context. Topics examined during the three courses, include: transport, international business, history, and sociology.
Along with training in academic English, the courses provide those high school students, who are planning to study overseas, with the critical study skills they will need to succeed in an international environment. In addition, learners will work on key strategies, with the aim of improving academic performance, as well as their ability to work both independently and cooperatively.
Moreover, the skills which are cultivated in these courses, will be useful for anyone who would like to go on to study for international English language exams; such as, IELTS and iBT TOEFL.
