1. Marketing Manager

1.1. Objectives

The position is responsible for the overall Marketing Department’s functions and issues.

1.1.1. Basic functions and responsibilities

  • Propose and implement the annual marketing plan.
  • Develop, nurture and strengthen the network with TVs, other media, PR agencies, state bodies, associations in Vietnam.
  • Manage and lead the marketing team to deliver set targets of the department.

1.1.2. Principal duties & responsibilities
a/ General requirements

  • Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the Marketing Department.
  • Developing the marketing strategy for the Public and Overseas Study businesses in line with company objectives.
  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
  • Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Creating a wide range of different marketing materials.
  • Working closely with designers and design agencies and assisting with new product launches.
  • Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.

b/ Digital Marketing

  • Develop a digital marketing strategy to function well and contribute to the sales revenue of LLV.
  • Operate the Digital Marketing system to make sure it fits with LLV business structure and direction, provide training and coaching for staff to run the system. Optimize on Organic and Inorganic leads.
  • Interact with sales for the flow of data and sales closures.
  • Revenue-related: To help Language Link increase its new public sales (both in terms of student number and revenue) through DM by 15%.

c/ Branding and Content Management

  • Giving feedback to Management for Branding strategy and new approach and models, make a monthly presentation to management.
  • Creating the concept of Campaigns and implementation planning.
  • Creating brand narrative and identity and liaising with marketing for implementation and implementing campaigns.
  • Liaise with Vendors, Academics to create content for marketing.
  • Create a mechanism to measure effectiveness by measuring effects on sales

d/ Other tasks

Work directly with Business line manager and director of the following businesses:

  • Contribute to the Link Up development project.
  • Support the marketing function of the Franchise business.

1.2. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or Communications.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a management capacity required in one of the following media-related fields: marketing, journalism, public relations and or communications.
  • Marketing and Public Relations experience at education preferred.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to deal effectively with all business contacts and manage high-profile relationships with clients and members of the media.
  • Strong organizational skills a must. Candidate must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and handle high-stress situations.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to LLV standards.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally.

2. Human Resources Manager (HRM)

2.1. Objectives

  • The HR Manager works directly with the BOM to plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resource practices, personnel policies and strategic goals for human resources consistent with the mission and goals of the company and according to Vietnamese regulations & guidelines.
  • Assist administrative and supervisory staff by supporting opportunities for professional growth and development among all employees.

2.2. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Develop and manage succession planning and talent management process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human resources.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and culture.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain a pay plan and benefits programme.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programmes.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

2.3. Line manager & report

  • Line Manager: Deputy General Director/BOM.
  • Report to Line manager and work closely with other BOM members on any matters and issues that impact on business lines and departments.
  • Report to Line manager at regular agreed intervals in an agreed format: Monthly.
  • Receive reports from HR team members: Weekly.
  • Meeting discussion with key business lines: Weekly.

2.4. Requirements

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development, or a related field.
  • At least five years of professional experience in human resources or related services, at least three years of senior management experience. Must possess effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Membership of HR Committees (not a must).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Corporate and process mind.
  • Excellent communication and quality orientation.






1. Business Manager

1.1. Objectives

The position is responsible for overall Schools Elite’s functions and issues.

1.1.1. Basic functions and responsibilities

  • Provide Market Research (New Market niche and segments)/ Product Research (New Product lines) and analysis to facilitate SEL’s Business Development Activities (Market development/ Product development).
  • Develop and manage the business development in Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary school education within the Schools Elite business models.
  • Responsible for the total performance of Schools Elite business, including but not limited to business development, sales and marketing, operations and customer services, program and teacher quality management.
  • Provide training and coaching support to team members to guarantee the best performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with authorities, business partners and educational organizations (DOET, District DOET, school partners, etc.).
  • Liaison with involved departments for Project support.
  • Others if required.

1.1.2. Principal duties & responsibilities

  • Conducting and managing market and product research & evaluation that provide synergy for SEL’s current business lines.
  • Working in conjunction with Academics for product design and product adaptation.
  • Work in conjunction with the Finance Controller and Finance Manager to evaluate project financial profitability, feasibility and risk management.
  • Well manage the Sales and After-sales service system, and facilitate effective communication between parties and project stakeholders.
  • Provide reliable supports for project management.
  • Other tasks if required.

1.1.3. Line manager & report

  • Line Manager: Deputy General Director/BOM.
  • Report to Line manager and work closely with other BOM members on any matters and issues that impact on business lines and departments.
  • Report to Line manager at regular agreed intervals in an agreed format.
  • Receive reports from SE team members: Weekly.
  • Meeting discussion with key business lines: Weekly.

1.2. Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in providing consultation concerning: Financial risk/ impact of taxation and finance regulation on business operation and development/financial analysis for a feasibility study.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of:
    • Budgeting, planning and statutory reporting.
    • Treasury operations.
    • Credit Control.
    • Cost Management.
    • Good working knowledge of the F&A applications (SAP) and systems.
    • Good command of English.
